Criteria

In order to be eligible for help from the Charities of this Group, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:

Housing

Residence: The Charity’s housing is reserved exclusively for people whose main home at the time of application, is in the London Borough of the City of Westminster. Those who in the past have lived in Westminster will also be considered.

Age and health In addition, applicants must be mobile and aged sixty years or more.

Relief-in-need Grants

Poverty: Poor in the general terms that anyone who can not afford the normal things of life which most people take for granted will probably qualify for help. A person who normally has an acceptable standard of living but is suffering temporary hardship perhaps because of accident or other setback may also qualify.

Age & Residence:

Women. Adult single women resident in the UK.

Men. Men resident in Greater London aged fifty or more.

Married couples. Couples recently married in the London borough of the City of Westminster.

Allowances

Poverty. As for an application for a grant.

Age & Residence Men and women aged fifty or more resident in Greater London

Education

University or Vocational Training Exhibitions Around six Exhibitions are awarded each year to those who also satisfy the age and residence criteria below and are recommended by the Governors and Head Teachers of Secondary Schools in the London Borough of the City of Westminster. Applicants must also be eligible for Government funding.

Age & Residence Applicants must be under twenty five years of age and have their permanent family home in the London borough of the City of Westminster.
